Essential Responsibilities
- Represent GE interests in customer and internal meetings for project close outs as well as active
- Report commercial risks, mitigation, and resolution to management via business segment risk
- Drive Contract Management Margin Enhancement program in the assigned segment/region with
- Provide commercial / contractual support in the development and implementation of negotiation
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, negotiation of claims, and the writing and execution of
- Support electronic order release system including interfacing with information systems for
- Participate in the maintenance of Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) / Order-to-Remittance (OTR) contract
- Support efforts to pursue Insurance / Supplier Recovery as appropriate
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law or Business from an accredited university or college
- At least 10 additional years of experience in project management, financial or commercial
- At least one year of negotiation and customer facing experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel for frequent travel
- Master’s degree in Business or Finance
- GE Leadership Development program (PMLP, OMLP, JOLP, RELP or equivalent)
- Demonstrated Leadership in a matrix environment
- Negotiation experience.
- Energy markets experience.
- Knowledge of Project Financing will be a plus.
- Strategic thinker with a track record for developing innovative solutions to difficult Business
- Demonstrated ability to deliver while handling large numbers of diverse tasks.
- Project management experience in power industry.
- Construction management experience.
- Field engineering experience.
- Contract management or negotiation experience.
- High energy level - self-starter.
- Technical knowledge of product lines and associated systems.
- Microsoft suite proficiency.
- Six Sigma training (GE employees only).
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Preferably bilingual with Arabic language
- Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills
