Position Responsibilities:
  • You will delight the traveler/travel arranger and all CWTSatoTravel clients

Qualifications
We are looking for an energetic self-starter with the desire to learn and grow who exemplifies the following traits:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years travel counselor experience
  • Industry knowledge and reservation skills in order to create multi-segment, multi-destination International itineraries to include air, rail, hotel, and ground transportation
  • Excellent knowledge of international travel requirements to include international geography, international routings and fare construction, documentation and immunization requirements
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of complex international pricing rules and procedures
  • Experience with group reservations and ticketing
  • Proficiency in a minimum of one CRS
  • Sabre experience preferred
  • Government travel reservation experience a plus
  • Ability to meet and maintain required performance standards
  • Excellent customer service skill required
  • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a security clearance

The Design Workshops are an interdisciplinary department within the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Arts at the German University in Cairo. They currently consist of six separate workshop units. The Ceramics and Moulding Workshops belong to the Form and Volume Workshop Cluster.

The Department’s mission is to teach all students practical skills relevant to the three majors programmes in the Faculty of Applied Arts during their Foundation Studies. Throughout the Majors, the workshops are an important resource, where students conduct experiments, realise assignments, create design prototypes, and participate in research. The FASA Design Workshops contribute to the unique profile of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Arts as a leader in design education in Egypt.

The Faculty seeks a recent graduate interested in deepening their academic profile as a designer-maker in the field of modelling and moulding. Applicants interested in conducting research are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills:

- a Bachelors degree in a design related discipline.
- proven experience and knowledge of more than one of the following craft areas:
a) clay modelling techniques, pinch, slab, coil and wheel
b) glazing and firing techniques
c) plaster moulding and casting techniques
d) plaster carving techniques
e) wax, clay and other modelling techniques
f) digital 3D modelling techniques, CAD, Rhino etc.
g) digitally steered manufacturing and prototyping techniques such as CNC routing and 3D printing

Job Description: 

Assisting the Workshop Supervisors in the Ceramics and the Moulding Workshops in all aspects of workshop management, thereby expanding the capacity, efficiency and creative profile of both workshops which work in close collaboration. The teaching assistant will be an important link between modelling and moulding related disciplines and is expected to divide his/her attention equally between the two workshop areas. As part of a team, the Teaching Assistant will work together with the supervisors and Head of Department to design courses and assignments, relevant to the needs of the faculty in particular those of the Product Design Department. He/She will report to the Workshop Supervisors and to the Head of the Department.

Responsibilities:

1 - preparing materials for courses together with the technical assistant.
2 - ensuring each student is following steps correctly. Ensuring safety regulations are followed.
3 - independent teaching of some course elements
4 - assisting and advising students in their project work
5 - ensuring all equipment is correctly maintained and the workshop is kept clean, tidy and safe
6 - assisting in organizational and administrative duties within the department
7 - taking student attendance lists
8 - initiating and conducting a personal research project within the workshops

The TA will report to the Workshop Supervisors and the Head of Workshops and coordinate his/her work together with the Technical assistant.

About the role
Role Purpose
The Senior Home Delivery is responsible for the management, and administration of all tasks that been assigned by the Home Delivery Manager in order to ensure flexibility in the department and meet customer expectation regarding the process of delivering the products and assembling them in short period.
